Costs/Insurance

Almonte General Hospital Rates – As of April 1, 2005.

Accommodation at the Almonte General Hospital is usually in a 4-bed room, unless you request a single or 2-bed room. For all Ontario residents the cost of accommodation in a 4-bed room is entirely covered by Ontario health insurance. If you would like accommodation in a semi-private (2-bed) or private room, check whether your medical insurance covers the cost of this. The Almonte General Hospital will attempt to accommodate your request for a semi-private or private room, although rooms are assigned on the basis of medical need.
