Occupational Therapy and Recreation Therapy

Occupational Therapy and Recreation Therapy services are provided within Day Hospital, Complex Continuing Care and Fairview Manor. 

The Occupational Therapist assesses the impact of health changes on daily function and works with the patient/client to recover and/or adapt to changes using equipment and/or strategies. The Recreation Therapist determines the patient/client’s leisure interests and abilities and provides opportunities for leisure and recreational activities at home, in the community or in the hospital setting.
